I thought I loved LastPass, but it was actually just the concept. The browser extension for Firefox is inexcusably bad, but at least the mobile app was well made. This is the same or better in all ways. Up to date, really very quick, transparent. Checking the Github gave me peace of mind
Came to BitWarden from LastPass since they have an extension for Firefox 57, but the Android app seems to be lacking. Would love to see them make use of the actual autofill API in Android 8.0 instead of using the old method as it makes some apps very slow.
Also migrated away from Last Pass because of their lack of keeping their own plugins updated. Their loss. Happy with Bitwarden, and will gladly upgrade to premium to support devs that really deserve it.
LastPass has fallen into disrepair. This is cleaner and better looking while having almost all the same functionality. Just needs the feature to analyze old passwords to seeks weak ones and duplicates.
+Excellent password manager +free +open source +No ads -Needs a keyboard for directed input to fields. -but a far cry from becoming lastpass/keepass replacement as yet *2FA Needs own authenticator esp for push auth. #Will gladly pay for such features especially to get rid of lastpass
Migrated from LastPass because of the history of their parents company's business practices and my want to support open source software. Great app that does virtually everything LastPass does but with a smaller footprint.
