About this app

THIS APP IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANDROID 11 AND LATER!
NAVIGATION GESTURES WILL NOT BE RECEIVING ANY MORE UPDATES!

Jealous of the cool new gesture navigation features on newer phones?
With Navigation Gestures, you don't have to buy a new phone or wait for the next Android update to get swipe gesture controls. Navigation Gestures brings swipe gestures to any Android device! Replace the navigation bar buttons and get gesture controls with Navigation Gestures!

Best of all, Navigation Gestures can completely hide the stock navigation bar
without root! This is the first gesture control app with this feature.

Swipe left, right, up, or down. Swipe up and hold. Tap. Double tap. Long press. Go crazy and split the pill in 3! There's a lot of ways you can use the gesture bar to control your phone. Don’t like how the gesture pill looks? Customize it!

- If your system navigation bar keeps hiding itself, run this ADB command:

adb shell settings delete global policy_control

Or, hit the "PROBLEMS?" button on the main screen and select the option that describes this issue.

- If you uninstalled the app without turning off "Hide Navigation Bar," run this ADB command:

adb shell wm overscan reset

- If your lock screen icons are cut off, go to Settings>>Behavior>>Blacklisting and enable Don't Hide NavBar on Lock Screen

I loved this app. Worked great with only the occasional hiccup. Something happened with this update now its pretty impossible to use now. Everytime I start my phone it works great, about 10 minutes in though I no longer have the ability to use the app. Can't go to the home screen, can't switch apps, can't go back, nothing. What usually fixes this is a restart and I'm good. Not anymore, even when I restart my phone it happens again and I have to go and give the app permission to run in my setting again. If I don't go check it every couple of minutes my phone pretty much becomes a paper weight. Someone please fix this so I can reinstall this app. Thanks.

when it works its great! but the app doesn't stay persistent on my devices. too many times my pill disappears and i have to go into the app and disable/reenable it to get it to return. this has happened in several versions now and doesn't seem to be getting any better. 5 star app if that is fixed imo. *edit* working much better after the latest update! a few weird things still happening but far and few between. keep up the good work!

It's perfect! I didn't know how much I needed this until I actually got it running. I like a minimalist look so I always have the Nav bar hidden and have to swipe to reveal it anyway. This just makes it quicker and easier (not to mention cleaner with the split pill setup). This is great. Also the app provides very clear and helpful instructions for those who have never used adb or anything like that.
