Size your fish from a photograph. Measure the length and calculate the indicative weight for over 120 species of fish. Store all your catch information in your logbook, and share with your friends. Catch & Release is more satisfying with a record of the fish you returned!
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FISH
Mark your rod or net with tape at 10ins or 25.4cms before you go fishing. Alternatively, you can use any item (rod handle, net, tackle box, etc) and use any known length to calibrate your photo.
When you catch a fish, photograph it next to your marked rod or net. Then, carefully return your fish.
Now you're ready to FishFigure:
1. Import the photograph into FishFigure
2. Use the FishFigure measuring tool to calibrate the image
3. Select your fish species from a list of more than 120
4. Use the FishFigure measuring tool to measure the length and indicative weight
5. Log all the catch details in your FishFigure logbook
The FishFigure logbook stores all your catch information. Automatically captured is fish species, date and time caught, and region. In addition you can add the fishery where you caught it, the method you were using, the lure or bait, the weather, and add additional comments. Against each catch you can store additional pictures of your trip such as the fishery or your jealous fishing friends! You can also manually enter the length and weight of the fish in your log book.
SHARING YOUR CATCH WITH FRIENDS
Once the information is in your logbook you can share your catch with your friends at the click of a button through Facebook, Twitter, Email and Text...
