Updates fixed the problems I had with the app. Mainly that shows are now full screen on my s6 edge +. Still would like to be able to choose which dvr records. *Problems with previous version* (before 11-29-16 update - was 3 stars) - has a lot of potential, but problems hold it back. 1) Nothing is full screen!! Content should fill the screen. Fix this and I would give you 5 stars. 2) When recording, give the option to choose which dvr records. 11-23-17 HD shows are now full screen. HOWEVER, if accidentally record something in SD, when you watch it, it will only take up approximately 25% of your screen. Very aggravating. Netflix shows SD shows with black bars on the side and in a 4:3 format and has a button to make this full screen. Please add a similar feature to this app. Also, too many channels require in- home access to watch. Please fix these problems and I will return my rating to 5 stars. Thanks.
Not sure what's gng on but just an FYI when I try to stream to watch General Hospital you can't hear it and it's been a couple of weeks now. A few minutes ago updated the app but still no sound only when it goes on comercials. Could you please find out why and be able to fix it asap. Thanks so much! I will certainly change the stars until the issue is fixed. 😊
I updated the app tonight since i was unable to access NBC on my phone while in my home network.... After the update, it shows live shows that I'm interested in viewing but will not allow me to watch said show!!!!! I am extremely frustrated! I share a television with a toddler and have to watch on my phone most of the time. It's ridiculous to have to pay cable process AND be unable to watch as i please. Find a fix, Comcast!
Worked great right away. Now it's basically the same as tv go. No matter what channel I type in, goes to weather channel. Can't access my dvr either. *Update: still garbage. Keeps cutting in and out. Thought it might be my internet. However, other apps work just fine. Watched a whole movie on HBO Go with no issues. Tried this app again, and it buffered every 30 seconds.
Freezes up every few minutes, impossible to watch any TV show or live sports without having to back out and reload frequently and thus missing chunks of the program. It's not my tablet or my phone because I can stream live events from websites (not Comcast) without a single problem.
This used to work perfectly. Now I cant watch local football live bc they cut out local channels even on home network!! I just want to sit in my backyard on my tablet and watch some football wth! I'm not very pleased with this at all. They cut channel 603-620 in Houston. I pay too much for them to limit me where I wasn't before. No ABC, no CBS, no Fox, Uninstall. Also TV Go let me cast to my TV. This version, Xfinity Steam, doesn't. Smh
Trying to watch recorded shows but continuously have issues. Yesterday I was getting error code 106000 and could not download recordings for future viewing. Today I was able to watch 1 minute of a recorded show on the app before it black-screens and refuses to play any further. Downloads still do not work, still receiving errors. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.
