I just spent 15 minutes redoing my favorite channels. It never did accurately show my selections. It would add versions never selected. When I went back and deselected those it altered previous selections. This has been one of my most troublesome apps since I loaded it several years ago. Unbelievably frustrating.
Amazing. After my two year old decided to play "I hide, mom seeks," with the remote, I proceeded to spend three hours searching EVERYWHERE! I sat down physically and mentally exhausted from my search, I'd say I was definitely feeling somewhere in between a margarita and a nap. Then I remembered this app. What a relief! Still have not found the remote, but at least he can watch his "blue's clues" while I finish my search. Thanks for this beautiful invention!
I absolutely hate this app. Bring back the x1 remote app. This is horrible. No playback control features, no info button. U have to watch all commercials. Useless app. I really hate it
This app sucks! The old remote was better. With this remote there is no key pad to just type in channels, when you watch shows on demand and it ends the screen for the next episode pops up and there is no way to exit out of it, had to reset my box.. And dont bother trying to switch tvs thats a headache too. The only reason i gave one star is because you have a tv guide on the app. Which is cool. Comcast needs to do some work on this.
Been dead again for the last two weeks, no ability to control or see the DVR. Was dead for two weeks in April. Comcast loves to treat their customers as garbage. Maybe they aren't paying attention that Sonic and others are delivering solid internet and I can then jump to Google TV or other micro-bundles. No strings on me. Is it any wonder they win the worst customer service rating year, after year? Given recent FCC leadership changes I suggest all Comcast customers start planning an exit.
This app does not show recordings on the box if you set a record g with the phone. The red dot only appears on the box if you use the microphone to set a recording. Also it takes a very long time for the recording to start if you set it through the guide on the phone. I also noticed when using the mic it cancels when speaking through before the command is completed and messages do not appear on TV when setting a recording g through the guide. It works but recordings are not synchronize d properly. I recorded a show using my phone and it shows on my phone that it recorded but it does not show on the TV. I reversed the recording with another show and set it on TV but does not show on my phone. Have yet to try out the phone recording to see if it will work though. Other than that the app works great. Like the guide feature too.:)
This dot release is designed to make the app more tolerant of unexpected data: namely, don't crash if grid listings go missing, and do show recording groups even when they contain empty recordings.
