Kills my HTC One M9!!! Used to have this on my M7 and was waiting for it to be available on my M9. After 4 days of learning it reduced my battery life drastically. I now only get about 6 hours on a single charge, compared to 12-14 hours before installing.
Extra time to spend... Well once it's gotten past learning everything it needs, it extends your battery life. Minimal improvements for myself, probably because WiFi management doesn't work for me. Low power mode is rather annoying when it's automated, and set too high. Still very good. The recent update might, might, have halved my battery life. I say might because I was getting 4+ days before, and I'm getting 2 and a bit now. Couldn't tell if it was because of changed usage or the app. Third time resetting it to relearn my usage
Was great now it's worthless. I used it for both my Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 then updated to Android Lollipop and could no longer use it. Then you released a version for Lollipop and was very happy about it till I installed it and found my battery drained faster than ever before. Fix it. Until you do I won't be using it.
Manage wifi turns on automatically & apps does not save battery rather drains quickly Manage wifi turns on automatically immedialty even after turning it off. Apps does not save battery rather drains quickly when charged 100% & one you remove charger the battery level comes to 94% within 1 min. Very annoying application.
Why remove "low power mode" widget This app used to be great, until some genius decided it was a good idea to remove the best part of the app. The "low power mode" widget was used constantly. So why it would be obsolete now, is beyond me... Bring back the widget and I'll rethink my rating.
I am not going to tell you what is great about this app but I will tell you what is wrong with the app and why I deleted it 24 hrs after installation. 1) Not really a reason but a noteworthy point. It is not compatible with all snapdragon devices. I have three sd devices and it only worked on one. 2) Not a deal breaker but it is a definite drawback. There is no battery percentage icon. EVERY battery saving app has a battery percentage icon that is there even on the lock screen. Snapdragon BatteryGuru has one but it show for only a few secs after you unlock the screen and it is not even there on the lock screen, whats up with that. 3) THE DEAL BREAKER. I deleted this app because it REQUIRES you and I mean REQUIRES you to keep your GPS location on all the time for it to work. If you take it off the GPS the app tells you "location services required, All battery saving features are halted." WTF! I for one only turn on the GPS when I need it as it can drain as much as 20-30% of your battery life per day. So Snapdragon BatteryGuru gets a F- for that crap. Make a GPS FREE version for people who DO NOT USE GPS UNLESS NEEDED!!!!
