Randomly the app wants me to sign in. I made my account using my phone number so I entered my credentials and it didn't work. So I tried to reset the password using "forgot password". It says the account doesn't exist. So I tried creating a new account with that phone number and it says the number is already in use. It used to be a 3/5 app because they seriously needed to integrate a social/competitive feature like fitbit, otherwise it's not much more than a step counter that you can find in a cereal box. UPDATE 05/16/2017. The app doesn't close without me having to force close it.
Have been using the app and band 2 for almost 6 months. After a recent update, the app asked me to sign in and after that i wasnt able to pair my device at all. Youtube has somany videos suggesting to use with a 3rd party app and it works well. I didnt pay money to use a 3rd party app MI. Seems like the company is hiding something. Please solve the issue. And dont know why there are words in some other language, its definitely not english.
Works great with MiBand 2 (which I absolutely love and was lost without it when the silicone band broke and had to wait for a stainless steel one). My app has a small problem with heart rate history: it shows the results as being one hour later (for example, if I take my pulse at 10:00, it registers as 11:00)
Firmware update has killed band. Why produce an update that has now unpaired the band, making it impossible to repair it, something you already know is an issue? Totally useless product now because of developer incompetence. And the final straw is the error message now appears in Chinese so how the hell am I supposed to know what the problem is and how to fix it. Your contempt for your customers is astounding
After the last update all data has been erased, I've been singed out and my band unpaired. I cannot pair my band, I cannot log with Facebook to keep all my old data. My band has become a useless watch. You do not have any respect for the users who pay you, or you really have a stupid development department. Choose!
After the latest update, the app kept crashing. I thought it was my phone's problem, so I updated android. But the problem persisted. I decided to uninstall and reinstall the Mi Fit app. Worked after that and the heart rate monitor is finally back on track. Could have gotten a 5 star if not for the unnecessary trouble.
