Dear Dev, after I buy xiaomi wifi extender v2, and I configure the settings in MIUI 8 there is no problem at all. After I updated to MIUI 9 it happened cant connect to my ssid. The Mihome app said which is in during configuring my ssid wifi it says timed out again and again. And then I try, in my other devices which is in MIUI 8 it says the same. Is it bad? Or it is a bug? Hope yo reply my answers
100% confirmed that this app interferes with other applications connections, Belkin WEMO app crashes on start when this mihome app is installed, also OpenHab app has problems connecting to local servers on WiFi when this app is installed, perhaps this app is redirecting connections to go via China for monitoring? There is no reason why this app should interfere with other apps WiFi connections! Very very suspicious behavior
After the update to US servers, I can no longer communicate with my Mi Robot Vacuum. A great product is a lot worse now. No more scheduling, cleaning tracking, or remote control of any kind. Please update the app quickly to fix this. I can see from other reviews that this is happening for everyone.
Do not switch to us servers for now. If, and it is a big if, you succeed at reconnecting to it with the us servers, it won't do anything when you click on the device. Trying to reinstall the app and rebooting for about the 4th time and switching back to the Chinese servers now. Hope I get back the functionality I had before switching. I used to love the app...
I will ignore xiaomi products in future. Some headphones from them sound messy. This app always gives "time out error" so I can not connect my new Wfi Mi repeater v2. And I am not the only. Google found a lot of other people with the same connect-issue. Do they test things thoroughly before selling?
Very good app, the interface is comfortable, basically working fine almost all the time. drawback: some devices are only in Chinese language or some part of their page and setting are English. Keep up the good work xiaomi team, I believe in you
fix some bugs
