I am relatively new to Mastodon. To that end, I am still trying to get to grips with the platform. The apps available all seem to have some significant differences. Tooot has features such as drafts being retained, that seem to be absent on other apps. It's not perfect, for example, when writing a reply to someone, there is no way to scroll down to see the text of the toot being replied to. As there is no 'Quote tooting', not being able to quote ad hoc is a bit of a bind. But, still a good app

EDIT: They fixed the edit button in the new update and the app seems to run quicker as well. Absolutely the best Android app for Mastodon now! Love the UI, but the three dot menu doesn't work and there's no notification count indicator on the bell icon. So close to being the perfect app, not sure why they haven't fixed it yet.

generally very nice mastodon client, especially considering it was almost entirely built by one person. a couple things that would make it even better: push notifications and in-app notif badge don't seem to work at all. Also, proactively fetching when the app is resumed would be amazing.
