The watch works well. Except delays in notifications. My son is often home before I get a notification that he left the safety zone. But still it gives a sense of security, hope it's not a false sense of security. But what happened to the Go-play store. It used to be that you could buy stuff for the xplora coins and he was very excited to collect steps and coins but now there are only auctions available, the bids are usually higher than what they used to cost in the goplay store.

The hardware is impressive, but the app dreadful at its best. It's is poorly made and not intuitive to set up leading to multiple profiles. The communication protocol seems to be half baked, the kids get the same message or picture repeated times and the GPS pins the watch in remote places were the kids had no ways to get by their own means.

The app is a major letdown. Instructions on the app (like setting alarm, or adding/updating contacts) routinely just fail inexplicably. The watch is great for our preteens and it's nearly a great product but the app is integral to the whole user experience to instill confidence in a parent. I have 0 confidence in the app so it really undermines the point of having it
