About this app

Create an Avatar Guide who will be your friend when you go into hospital. And always remember to ask your Guide questions if there's ever anything you don't understand.

Your Guide will introduce you to avatars of all the different types of people that work at the hospital. You can change how they look and give them names so that they look like your own doctors and nurses.

You can explore all the different rooms and equipment and find out how things work. You can play games with your friends too.

If you want to know what's going on, or remind yourself about something that's coming up check out your calendar. Here you can also keep a Mood Diary to keep track of how you are feeling.


Information for parents and carers:

Xploro is approved by clinicians and has been proven to reduce the anxiety that you or your child may be feeling when going into hospital. To access Xploro you'll need to generate a three word access code in our Parent App. If you haven't got access to the Parent App then ask your health provider to register you.
