This app drove me crazy. In the beginning, it worked perfectly until I updated it. It kept playing 3 songs over and over, requiring I try to manually steer in through the album. There were many times it would go to the next song in the album, play 3 seconds of it, and then jump to the same 3 songs it seemed to want to play on repeat. Ultimately, because my experience with it was becoming so bad, I decided it was better to sit through the commercials than to keep redirecting it.

Shuffle only works properly if I keep the app in the foreground; otherwise it'll just loop two songs. Tabbing back to the app summons an ad that disrupts the playback and makes me resume manually. Summarily, not the successor to the other app with the same name that I seek, but probably useful to others whose style differs from mine. (The videos themselves are ad-free.)

this app is pretty much what I was looking for. play in background without annoying ads. let's be honest, ofc there are some ads but it's very limited and doesn't bother to wait for 5-10 seconds ads once a while. the only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is the login page is blank. I tried all the workarounds I could find but nothing changed. I will update to 5 stars if this is fixed and I can login. edit: I can login now, updated to 5 stars
