Solid app, but... Very nice Clear clone, however the latest update is using the slide right gesture to perform TWO actions, which is odd. What used to mark an item as complete now pulls up a calendar interface (or a prompt to purchase the pro version). If you want to mark an item as complete with the new UI, you have to swipe just some of the way right. Judging from the other reviews, I am not alone in finding this confusing and difficult to use. A potentially better solve would be to follow the Pocket model, which uses a long press on an item to pull in additional options — not overcomplicating what should be a simple swipe gesture. Otherwise a solid list app.
Very buggy The concept of clear on iOS was great, I learnt to love it. When I saw a clear like app was available, I jumped at it. Sadly the app is very buggy, the UI though pretty spot on, bugs out if you interact with it. Swiping a list item to done weirds out the UI and the entry below the one you swiped disappears until you restart the app. Until this is more polished, it's a 2 star for me. A for effort though.
Unusable unless paid I've used the iOS Clear for quite some time so I was excited to see a version here for my work phone. Unfortunately unless one pays for the "pro" (I hate that terminology) version, this app is 90% useless. It is rated as such. You can't even clear a list item when completed. Sorry, but this is a fail in its current iteration. On top of that out hadn't been changed since April so there's that...
Would give 5 stars but... App is glitchy on Android, I type in "milk" and it changes it to "frozen juice" and dupicates it over and over down the list. Just frozen juice on my list I guess. Also I wish there was a way to disable the calendar add-on. It automatically adds every single item I write down into my calendar and gives me too many notifications. Otherwise I love this app because it is attractive and easy on the eyes. I first saw this app for IOS, and it looked great and I was happy to find it on my Android. Please fix!
I just started using this It works. Heck, I even paid for it, go figure! I got Clear for iOS when I had an iPhone. I still use it on my iPad but it's so inconvenient since my Note 3 is my primary device. As I recall, even though I got Clear free of charge (promotional freebie), it did cost like 2 bucks, at least for a short time. Anyway, this works fine. And although I wish it worked exactly like the iOS app, I can understand not making an exact copy. It's fine the way it is, and being able to set reminders is great.
Used to be better This used to be a great product without pushy upgrade requests to the paid product. However, now everytime I try to complete a task if I dont slowly swipe it all the way over from ine side of the screen to the other it prompts me to buy the upgraded version and won't let me complete the task.
