Some issues... There doesn't seem to be a way to do the same image control options (delete and rotate in particular) from the android app. Have to use web browser login to access those. Also it always seems to default to camera roll which isn't ideal for managing photos but it might be great for visitors. Also is there any way to download full or partial archives of my own photo collection in a format that enables viewing in external programs/apps when not online or not accessing Flickr directly? Thanks.
Love to stay connected! I have a pretty active Flickr life, and this app is great for keeping me tied in. It's not super in-depth, not a ton of bells or whistles, but that's not what I want on my phone/tablet. Beautiful format. I do wish there was a way to edit comments (for when I inevitably misspell something)! Moto G3, Note 4 & Lenovo Tab 2 A10 (Android 4.4+)
The application as usual 4 star performance given all user friendly features & it's trades. I would have given it a 5 star rating if and only if it had improved the location based search which in the recent update seems to be missing. For strange reasons I am unable to search any existing locations even from the previous versions. Therefore I kindly request look into this area of improvement as this would easily score a 5 star. Fingers crossed & waiting for a better update with fix in the future. Good luck!
Auto upload not working for big video files I have recorded my holidays videos in 4k, 6 mins small clip is around 2Gb, so I have 22 such clips of 2GB, 3Gb, these videos are not getting auto uploaded on Flickr. Is there any limitations so file size to be uploaded. Don't know I have tried with high speed internet with wifi of 10mbps speed and of 4G speed I.e. more than 32 Mbps speed, still not getting uploaded. Please fix this issue
New review: Found an issue. I don't know if this has been mentioned or if it has already been incorporated into the app, but it would be great if there was a feature/option for Flickr Mail. Since I use the app I don't log into the desktop version and will only do so when I upload photos from my DSLR or film scans. It is only during that time that I realize that I have Flickr Mail, mail that was received weeks or sometimes months ago. You would think that Flickr Mail notifications would be bundled in the general notifications feed.
Would love landscape orientation & map Latest version: when uploading, if you add a caption, it shows up as the title. But it does let you correct it once it's uploaded. I love Flickr, the last app was great, & this v. has its strengths also, but i think I'll manage mine through the browser more often now. EDIT 2/12/16: Less one star; where did the tags field go? Are we back to putting hash tags in the title or description?
This Auto-Uploadr patch comes hot on the heels of last week's big launch. Thanks for your patience as we get the app back to its shiny self!
