New review: Found an issue. I don't know if this has been mentioned or if it has already been incorporated into the app, but it would be great if there was a feature/option for Flickr Mail. Since I use the app I don't log into the desktop version and will only do so when I upload photos from my DSLR or film scans. It is only during that time that I realize that I have Flickr Mail, mail that was received weeks or sometimes months ago. You would think that Flickr Mail notifications would be bundled in the general notifications feed.
The application as usual 4 star performance given all user friendly features & it's trades. I would have given it a 5 star rating if and only if it had improved the location based search which in the recent update seems to be missing. For strange reasons I am unable to search any existing locations even from the previous versions. Therefore I kindly request look into this area of improvement as this would easily score a 5 star. Fingers crossed & waiting for a better update with fix in the future. Good luck!
Very nice! I have no problems with the app besides one. When typing it will not rotate to normal widescreen mode. But I can comment on computer. The auto-uploader is very cool. Photos dont hqve to be stored in the phone, and they stay private until I change them. Excellent backup with a TB free storage. (Need Yahoo email acct)
Some issues... There doesn't seem to be a way to do the same image control options (delete and rotate in particular) from the android app. Have to use web browser login to access those. Also it always seems to default to camera roll which isn't ideal for managing photos but it might be great for visitors. Also is there any way to download full or partial archives of my own photo collection in a format that enables viewing in external programs/apps when not online or not accessing Flickr directly? Thanks.
Replying Still no notifications coming and settings have all been checked and cache cleared. Please fix this! Now the notifications is not appearing as the blue dot next to the bell? FIX?!If you could add the ability to reply in the mobile app as in the pc version and copy a groups URL so one could "Seen in! " that would be great
Love to stay connected! I have a pretty active Flickr life, and this app is great for keeping me tied in. It's not super in-depth, not a ton of bells or whistles, but that's not what I want on my phone/tablet. Beautiful format. I do wish there was a way to edit comments (for when I inevitably misspell something)! Moto G3, Note 4 & Lenovo Tab 2 A10 (Android 4.4+)
This Auto-Uploadr patch comes hot on the heels of last week's big launch. Thanks for your patience as we get the app back to its shiny self!
• Put your free 1000GB to work like never before - auto-upload all your photos and videos to your Flickr camera roll. They'll be private, until you choose to share them!
