I got this to translate speech on a tv show from German to English. First issue is that every time you click on a setting (like selecting source language) ads pop up. And not just 1 ad. it's "3 in 1" without any way to click out. Then the app couldn't pick up much of the language from the tv, even though I was in a completely quiet room, by myself. I finally gave up and tried to repeat phonetically what I heard. Then it seemed to do an adequate job. So 2⭐

Wayyyyyy to many ads. I understand ads are needed to keep the app "free". But it's too excessive. I'll stick with Google Translate where it's also free and has no ads. I don't mind an ad here and there, but if I have go watch an ad for every darn click, it's not worth it. Time is precious, and I don't want to waste it watching ads "excessively". Again I'm saying here and there is fine, but for every click is ridiculous.

Very easy to work with. I like that it immediately translates your speech to both text and voice in the chosen language as a default but let's you change it so you can turn off the voice translation and choose when to have the app vocalize the translation. Other apps I've tried require that you press a button before the translation is vocalize which make them a bit awkward to use in a back and forth conversation. With this app, why bother with the hassle of learning a foreign language?
