RentCafe Resident App features (options vary based on each community):
- Submit one-time payments in three easy steps with various payment methods.
- Set up monthly automatic payments to help you avoid late fees.
- Share rent, utility, and other costs with roommates using monthly automatic payments
- Submit maintenance requests with photos and voice memos and track progress along the way.
- Reserve community amenities such as the clubhouse, meeting rooms, and pool area with just a few taps.
- Track when your packages are delivered or picked up, all within your app.
- Sign and complete your lease renewal directly in the app.
- Interact within your community through the Bulletin Board.

The RentCafe Resident app has been designed for communities that use the RentCafe platform as their Resident Portal. Resident has been great so far, with one exception. Every time I get to the OTP screen, I am unable to enter the code into the boxes after retrieving the code from my texts. The only way was to copy and paste each digit individually, back and forth from the app to texts. The issue was fixed at least for me when I bought a new phone. The new S25 shows the full OTP (with copy option) code FINALLY, so I can finally stop leaving apps to hunt for it. Before, the boxes did not interact.

A month ago or so it stopped working and had me want to sign in again as it didn't remember me for whatever reason and it would just go to a blank black screen. once I entered my password and hit sign in and then it would close the app. I then spoke to customer service about it and there still hasn't been a resolution made. I have tried all the troubleshooting including uninstalling and reinstalling and ensuring my phone is up to date.

The app is generally fine, but there are a few major issues: 1. When entering the OTP number, the phone’s keyboard covers the input field, so you can’t see whether you entered the numbers correctly. 2. Inside the app, the night/day mode settings and the exit button are blocked by the Android navigation buttons in the lower-left corner.
