I use to depend on this app to find good food in where ever area I'm at, but now it's becoming annoying for me to use mostly because all the pictures aren't loading. I'm a visual person so pictures really help when I look for places to eat. I'm not sure after which update this started happening, but I updated today hoping this is a bug that was fixed but sadly it's still the same. Please fix this problem as I'm seeing only 30 or so pictures when it shows that the business has 1000 pictures.
I just wanted to read one f****** review, in my browser, but NOOO stupid Yelp forces you to download their crappy app to read anything on their website, there is no other way to view on mobile. What a pathetic way to get downloads. Will be uninstalling on Sunday as soon as I'm home from my trip. PS: I spent 5 minutes trying to find ANY other review of this hotel restaurant on Google, but since I couldn't I downloaded this garbage app. If zero stars was an option, that's what this review would be.
Forced to download to confirm a reservation. Will promptly uninstall now that it's confirmed, but wow what a terrible business practices. Must be desperate for users?
Every time I just want to use their mobile site and get forced into installing this, and every time I'm done with it I have to uninstall it. Stop strong arming your user base.
No instructions to guide me through the app so I understand how it works. Sure didn't like having to download app just so I could read the reviews. I noticed that YELP doesn't take any time to respond to any reviews, good or bad. Zero stars....
Yelp has helped us explore new places, try new foods. It made coming out of our food comfort zone so much easier. If it's a new type of food for us, we order based off of people's comments. It is so helpful to have the hours of business so we don't take a long drive to then did the place is closed. I have used it to find nail spas and even my new mechanic too. Yelp is truly amazing!
We removed precisely 37 bugs (and one intrepid spider, which we’re pretty sure isn’t technically a bug) from this version of the Yelp app.
