We all know that data is one of the biggest power drain. If you keep your data on all the day, apps can run out of full battery even without using your phone.
When screen is off, Doze prevents your apps from sending or receiving data without disabling your Wi-Fi or 2G/3G/4G data. In this way it adds more hours to standby time and makes significant difference to battery life.
Apps can resume normal activity when screen is on.
It's different from Power-saving mode in Android Lollipop (Android 5).
1. If you enable power-saving mode in Lollipop, it turns off you data and only when you manually open the apps can they receive data again.
Doze is different. When your screen is on, apps can resume normal activity. You do not need to check them out one by one.
2. Doze supports Android 4.1 or above. In the long run it will support more Android versions.
Power-saving mode is available in Android 5 only.
It's different from Doze feature of Android M.
1. Doze feature in Android M activate only when your phone/tablet is unplugged, stationary for more than 30 minutes and has the screen off.
You can activate Doze from YirgaLab anytime. By contrast, it's much easier to activate.
2. Doze from YirgaLab supports more Android versions.
In all, it's an improved and more powerful feature based on Google Doze.
Doze app will not interfere with Marshmallow’s Doze feature. They can work together.
How to keep an app active when in Doze with screen off?
In the recent update, We add an active list feature. Apps added to the active list are active in doze mode.

Permission request
1. VPN Permission: To make it work, Doze will set up a VPN (not VPN in its true sense. It is a barrier to block data flow).
Please enable Doze VPN permission when you get the prompt.
2. Accessibility service (optional): This service is not necessarily be enabled but enabling it helps Aggressive mode work better.

Good , but with issues I always wished I can white list some apps under Restrict background data option in Android. This app fulfills that. But the app auto quits on my oneplus 3 quite frequently and I have to manually turn it on everytime. Also it would be better if you explain how exactly the VPN is used when asking for VPN permission

Works great! But this needs to be done↓ 1. It sometimes auto quits and doesn't auto start. Look into this. 2. Also after reboot it doesn't autostart. Add an option for the same. 3. It says to disable first and re enable twilight, screen shader app, to enable doze. Can't we get rid of it? P.S. I want it to run all time on it's own.

No need to charge ur battery 1-2x daily We all know we have been in the situation where our phone has shut down, due to a dead battery. Need extra time....get it free, be sure to Thank, YirgaLab ... because this app really works. Not a ploy or gimmick! Really appreciate your generosity!

This is great and usefull aps. But why when I activated the aggressive mode, my smartphone's LED notification always blinks when the screen turns off. Please fix it. I have turned off the notification LED for this app but keep it blinking. I will give 5 stars if it is resolved. Thanks doze. (Xiaomi Mi Max - Marsmalow 6.0.1)

AWESOME!! I've only had this app for a few weeks, but it's great! I'm on a prepaid plan, so I only get 2gb a month. This has helped me sooo much to keep that we'll under my alotted gb! I have 2 weeks to go before I have to pay & I haven't even used 1gb yet! What ever this is doing, DON'T CHANGE IT!!! Highly recommended!

No idea if it's acually doing something or not. Seems to run in the background without crashing so far. Having a widget or a persistent notification option would be nice. If it does work! Well that would be a awesome app. Thanks. UPDATE: Don't know what happened but a persistent notification has appeared. Great! Now I'll monitor to see what it does!

It Really works U know what it really works... I start it at night when i wake up my battery at the same state where i left at night.... Best app for standby mode i loved it .hey develpor tell me how to praise y more on your great work. I already give u five stars.. Again lots of love from me please keep it up
Doze work pretty well on my Galaxy J3 on Boost. Without it, I would lose about 1%-1.5% capacity per hour. With the app I am only losing 0.40% or so per hour on standby. I wonder about having to use the VPN, but it works and I can select which aps I do not want to Doze.
Gorgeous app It saves me so much battery and gives me almost twice time usage.(Phone 2800mah i had 4h and now up to 8h or so) This app just overwhelmed Me. It's definetly worth app and it's something else-marvolous. I strongly recommend it for each person!
Doesn't seem to work I used Doze for one day and no Doze for another day, and my battery discharge was virtually the same. Also, it says it will stop apps from using the network, yet they still do, en masse. Furthermore, it says it will set up a VPN, but no VPN was ever set up... Since my phone battery dies WAY too easy, it seems I'll have to wait for Android Nougat in order to get more battery, huh?
A good solution, BUT... It's a great idea. Conceptually it makes all sense. BUT users should be aware of the risks of letting ANY app to create a VPN. Even when the dev is s trusted one a VPN could pose security risks. I think the developer should make this clear on the app's description. Other than that, the app may be useful to those who struggle with battery issues. I'm giving it give 5 stars for the well developed concept.

great suggestion :) Works well but... It works as it advertised except the white list function. They says "The apps in the white list can keep the activities in doze" . But after closing the app(with its service running in the background) it stops using data. Otherwise it's an awesome app. 😍😘
RAM issue It's working good but in background running, this App (16 Mb) and ShutApp (~66Mb) almost taking ~88Mb RAM. It's lot for 2 GB RAM devices [because they will get only 600-700 Mb RAM (after system using) in that these Apps taking 88 Mb]. I think developer should decrease to below ~20Mb (like Greenfy).
It has potential. The app is really make my standby time longer than usual. But, it has one problem that happened in my device. Sometime the app auto quit itself, and it doesn't auto start again. Maybe, the developer can fix this problem. And it will be 5 stars.
Supposedly good. I worked fine for me. Even though I whitelisted Whatsapp, Messenger (FB) and Mail, I mostly couldn't get notifications from them. I uninstalled the app, I even updated to Nougat and the activity that Dozes everything is still running, wtf! Is there not a way to stop the ativity for ever?!
It's just awesome app , must try once. I had changed my mobile ( Lenovo k3 note -2900mah) yesterday and now it's 11:30 pm and still it has 35% battery after normal use over day. I just recommend this app to all of . Woooow
Didn't expect it to, after 17 hours of usage + stand by, I still have 75% charge left on my Moto E! Would be nice if it allows data at regular intervals, so that we don't miss out completely.
Don't Think It Works I used it last night while sleeping for the first time. I charged my phone to 100%, unplugged it, and woke up to the same normal loss. And unless I'm misunderstanding, i had notifications from fb and ig and such. I thought this was supposed to stop it from connecting when screen is off.
Shut App This app works well and s must have app if you have straight talk service that takes your so called high speed data away after two weeks wether you use it or not and wether you purchase 5,10 or hotspot data plans with a 4G speed that never reaches 3G unstable speed. Mine has never been higher than 4.9 mbs and is lowered to .06 mbs after two weeks. My only problem with this app is that it does not close all the apps running but again probably due to my service provider. Thanks for creating such a good app
App does not quit when switched to wi-fi. Battery life saver. Does what it says. My only complaint is that the app does not automatically turn off/quit when I switch to wi-fi even when I have wi-fi turned on and the setting in the app is checked. Other than that, a must have app. 👍
Nice app but need some work I am using HM1S with MIUI7 stock ROM. I have to active the app again and again it automatically quits after few hours or immediate after rebooting the phone. So I have to do "get into the doze" again. Overall nice app for fast battery draining issue.
Guess it works, battery seems to last longer but wish the VPN stuff was explained better. I want to use the aggressive setting but seems like it stops apps from working & when I click disconnect for app I'm using doze is deactivated til I restart it all over.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! SERIOUSLY!!! I really have to say........thank you sooo much you guys over there who create this app!!! :^) I'm running KitKat 4.4.3 (Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-545 *rooted*) and the S4 battery is not that great. Thank you sooo much fpr fixing androids power issue with having to upgrade OS. From the features on this app, I would still run it even if I had the Marshmallow OS running. "I highly recommend this app for everyone, especially if you know the go though out the day!"
Interesting App but, I tried this to see if battery usage was better and allowed only 6 apps with low usage anyway. Battery usage on my Voda Smart U6 increased. 30%+loss so charging twice a day.
Doesn't seem to work at all Got all the settings set up correctly and only whatsapp and phone calls allowed. I had my suspicions when i got an email earlier and now a notification from soundhound. Good effort though, the idea is good
I cant tell its on or off Exclusion app doesnt work in aggresive mode.... And in normal mode you still can use internet in blocked app... Thx... Can you repair ?? VPN didnt work in normal mode and VPN block all excluded app in ze550ml in aggresive mode
I can give 5 stars but just wana know why is VPN permission required. I dnt think our data is safe. But trully there is a huge difference before and after I installed this app. Just 2× my battery. But only thing in mind is why is VPN permission required.
Never felt so good with my note 4 Before my note will only last 5 to 6 hours. Now it last 12 hours. . Love this app. I only turn on what app i want to constantly use the internet.. i have whatsapp and emails.. thats it. Weather does its 6 hour sync .and facebook i have it off because im always checking it. . Love this app. Thanks.
At times affects my Fingerprint Scanner Works great. But one thing that bothers me is that it affects my HTC 10's Fingerprint scanner. The scanner itself is clean. Often happens when the phone is charging. The issue goes away when the app is uninstalled.
Really aggresive Won't let any app connects to internet, even the whitelisted one. I need to listen to online music streamer so this is not for me at least until it gets a workaround. note: I've turned on the accessibility extension too, but maybe i'm running custom rom CM11 is one of the reason of my problem
I had two alarms on today, neither went off., one was going off with no sound and the other wasn't going off at all. I had both alarms listed as staying on in Doze settings. I deleted Doze and tried both alarms again and both went off. Used to work before 'update', now it is useless, you've lost all credibility, goodbye.
This app is essential. Android isn't too good at saving power while locked up, that's what I've found from going from ios to android. When I installed this app, I accidentally forgot to charge my phone over night and I went to bed with 15% and woke up with 5%. Usually it would have been dead round 3am or something. Battery consumption has been a hell load better since installing this app.
Missing For some reason the Circle Sidebar app does not show on it's list of apps to ignore. Kind of annoying because it keeps deactivating it when my screen turns off. Hopefully y'all can fix that soon. Other than that not a bad app at all
FREED FROM COMPULSION OF CONNECTING PHONE TO CHARGING OVER NIGHT BEFORE DOZE IF BATTERY 100% BEFORE SLEEPING, IN MORNING IT SHOWS 40 TO 50%. I HAD CONNECT TO CHARGER OVERNIGHT, AFTER DOZE IT SHOW 97% IN MORNING WITHOUT OVERNIGHT CHARGING. WORKS PERFECT
Great Galaxy s7 was eating battery so fast that you could watch the percentage go down. The phone was ♨ Hot. Installed Doze and it setteled down immediately. Got rid of 2 bad apps but will keep Doze.
Great concept, appears to be abandoned by the dev team. Worst mistake I ever made installing it on my and wife's stock note 5's. Even unistall did not fix the problems caused by doze. Ended up factory reset of both mine and wife's phones. Developers no longer respond to emails. My level of technical experience, VERY HIGH.
Works As Advertised Installed and configured this app on my Driod Maxx and closely monitored it for a few days of normal useage. RESULTS: Average increase of 10% remaining battery power daily. No negative impact on previuosly installed apps. (Note: This app was working in conjunction with Shut App). Give it a go, if you're not happy with the results just uninstall it.
After trying everything, Doze has reclaimed 15-20% battery life I'm very surprised. Expected the difference to be negligible. Good work! Now I'm wondering whether I should turn off Power Saver
It off automatically When i open net and and any application then sometimes after it OFF automatically..phone model is Samsung galaxy grand Gt i9082.....can u solve this otherwise i uninstall this worst app..
S7 (nougat) **UPDATE** Initially I gave 1 star and a bad review, but then after giving it another chance I would have to say that believe it or not this app is actually doing it's job. I just got 34 (yes that's correct 34) hours out of one charge. Give it a fair chance and you may well be surprised!
