Yle Areena is Finland's most versatile streaming service. Series that everyone is talking about, podcasts that will take your mind off your everyday life, and live shows that you have to watch.

In addition to the best series, films and documentaries, you can also watch Yle's TV channels live. In between podcasts, you can also listen to all of Yle's radio channels.

With Android Auto support, you can use Yle Areena in your car.

The application works on all Android phones and tablets that use the Android 7 operating system or newer. There is also an Andoid TV version of the application.

Ratings and reviews

Better off using a web browser or the Hermit app to make a webapp launch icon so you don't need to login or update this app. I have had to reset the app several times because it failed to run, which a webapp won't need. Casting did not work. Some content has adult scenes with no prior warning. You can't choose the display based on audience age rating.

Overall a good app, it would be more stars if it was more visible which programs that have english subtitles as an option. Ive not seen swedish subtitles ever, our SVTplay usually have option for finnish subtitles. upt rew, im sorry yle, but still (year later), very few shows have subs in swedish/english. also noticed the icon for text can randomly dissappear, wont show again even after reloading app. same on web and app. thats also a way to miss out on subtitles.cmon yle!SVT have working subs

I keep setting the app language to Swedish but multiple times a week it resets to Finnish. Phone uses English and this has been happening for months now.
