About this app

Our official app is the ultimate tool for you who are visiting Norway's largest family park.

The app gives you a simple overview of activities, entertainment, animal presentations and restaurants you can visit in Dyreparken, Badelandet, Abra Havn and Dyreparken Hotell. Use the app to plan your day, choose which activities you want to experience and mark them as favorites. The map shows where the various attractions are located, so you can easily orientate yourself in the Park.

When you log in to the app with your profile from dyreparken.no, you will have access to all your tickets and bookings. You can also order food and buy new products and experiences directly from the app to ensure that you get the unique experiences Dyreparken offers.

If you activate location services and notifications and have Bluetooth activated on your mobile, you will also receive notifications with useful tips during your visit, as well as the fact that you can use a GPS system that shows you the way to where you are going. You can turn off this functionality at any time in your phone's settings.

Ratings and reviews

Clunky and not very intuitive UI. There was missing information. Multiple bugs, such as map freezing and my location not being at the correct position. Additionally it was very annoying that the app required having location and bluetooth (why tho?) turned on to use the app. I was also missing having a zoom option on the map.

You need an account with this app to pay for anything in the park, which is bad enough. You will automatically get offers you never asked for, unless you go into settings and fix it. If you try to log in with vipps, the app opens a browser that opens vipps, and once you're done there you have to go back to the webpage which now probably shows an error message. Do this four more times, and you're in. You may now order the cup of coffee you already stood 10mins in line for, and get in line again.

You HAVE to use this app to order food and drinks, or order a pram or trolley, yet it barely works! The map doesn't find your location correctly. When you try to order food it says the payment can't go through. The same for ordering a pram. This was especially bad with android phones. There is no information about age limits for rides either. Seriously - if people have to use this app while in the park it should be much more user friendly and work!
