Fanatic! Only missing 2 things This is a great & stable app that I have set to sync with the desktop version. It does almost everything the desktop version does, but is missing a search feature & doesn't have the Reports section (will give 5 stars when those are added). Still, great that I can use this to update my purchases on the go. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see where their money is going. You can't edit the budget amounts on this, only add/change purchases & income, but that isn't that big of a deal for me.
Too much work This is too much work to set up a budget. It couldn't connect to my back on the desktop. Now, the app wants me to link Dropbox. If I wanted to keep sensitive info on Dropbox, I'd just use Dropbox, so what do I need this for, it won't connect to my account, so waste if money for me. If you like putting in a ton of work, linking 3rd party apps to synchronize across platforms , and paying for yet another service, when the intended goal was to crack down on spending, then this app is for you. Me? Bye
Great system. Great app. As a student, I've had to learn to budget. You could say I needed a budget. Guess what? I still do! YNAB and this seamless app have made my life so much easier, on top of helping me save my money and my sanity. I don't look forward to moving on to the new YNAB (whatever that is), but I imagine it'll be for the best, despite the added cost.
Life changing! Have never had more control over my finances! Have never truly known when we could actually afford to splurge or do anything fun before using this app. I have not stressed about money, bills, or emergencies popping up since the day I set up our finances in this app. No money arguments ever... it's all laid out and keeps us on the same page. Best and most life changing purchase we have ever made! The price is just change in the bucket when you think of the big picture.
Great software! I agree with everyone. This is amazing software, and I've been using it a year and a half. I'm really upset to here it's going subscription only. I'd rather pay for an update than begin subscribing. I haven't figured out what I'll do once YNAB classic loses support. What I'm least likely to do? Add another subscription service to my budget.
Limited app functionality It is a pity the company has decided to charge an annual subscription of $50. I think it is too steep price and will only shoo away lots of loyal customers. I had infact paid for there desktop version but I guess it was not a good investment.
We did some housekeeping.
