Ratings and reviews

The app works well for scheduling and having work done as advertised, but you may have problems if you need service under warranty. I had an alternator replaced using Your Mechanic. The alternator failed within 3 months. When I contacted Your Mechanic (there is no way to contact the actual mechanic directly) I was told that the soonest they could send someone to check the alternator is in two weeks. So, they are quick to get your business, but if you need help under warranty, good luck!

The app was easy to use and it got me in contact with a timely and communicative mechanic who was able to resolve my issue within 72 hours. Purchasing the parts beforehand will help save you some money and you can always confirm with the mechanic that your order meets specifications. The mechanic I was matched with did a great job of replacing my alternator and was very knowledgeable. To the devs: rating stars should really be filled, not outlined.

Fantastic experience. since dealerships & repair shops lost revenue during the pandemic, they've now implemented "shop fees" on ALL services to make up for lost income, including a simple diagnostic. After a couple of those experiences I had to find a more economical solution, but just as competent. With great prices, easy online booking, and installment payment options, I will continue using this service for all 4 of my vehicles.
