it's helpful for sure, but it gets so frustrating because it has difficulty hearing or recognizing the different notes. most of the time during the songs it will only pick up about half of them, saying that I didn't get the others. as a beginner it's really discouraging because it seems like my points are pretty bad when I feel like I'm doing really well. edit: I messed around in the audio settings for awhile and changed it from Android mic 1 to mic 2 and it seems to be working so much better

My daughters (8&9) like to use this to have fun and learn to play music. I have a bachelor's in music education and love Yousician. They have content to teach how to hold and play the instrument correctly, ear training exercises, and practice tutorials to work through the skill they are working on in a particular lesson. I haven't gone through everything, so I don't know if it teaches dynamics or rhythm, but it certainly is worth the money to have fun learning and improving :)

Starting to get really frustrated with the Guitar program. It has difficulty hearing certain strings from time to time, and it causes it to say that I'm not hitting a chord, or there's a dead note, or etc. I have tested it with slow speed and playing extremely carefully, and it still runs into problems. Particularly on the chord trainer, it'll show that it recognizes it sounding off, but it isn't loud enough maybe? Regardless, makes certain parts very tedious.
