great app. I can search for a particular ingredient (like cilantro) and it comes up with a ton of recipes. The only downside is having to click out of the app to get the instructions on how to make. But it doesn't stop me from using it regularly. LOVE the shopping list function, too!
Love the look and feel of this app! Awesome variety of recipes, super excited to see the 'pescetarian' option in the dietary preferences. Unfortunately, I'm unable to view the directions for any of the recipes (hint, hint! help!) but I love this app so much I continue to use it for cooking inspiration/ideas and food porn binging.
I love this app! I just wish there was a way to combine ingredients in the shopping list if different recipes call for the same product. It would make using the shopping list feature so much easier to use. It's a hassle having to scroll through everything to make sure you'll have enough of something for each recipe that requires it. I also wish there was an option to mark privately whether you liked the recipe or you didn't without sharing it with the world. Otherwise, this app is awesome and has made me look like a superb chef when I'm only a beginner!
Good app. It only needs a few additions to make it a great app. Like being able to add notes of any changes that you make to the recipe so you'll remember next time. Also, making an option to not see certain recipes in your search.
For the most part, it's good but if you're going to annoy me with notifications (for example about Pina coladas)when tapped, the recipes that come up should be in regards to the notification. Otherwise it's just that.. annoying.
I absolutely LOVE this app but I can't give it five stars because every time I click on a recipe and then go back to the list of recipes in the search it shoots me back up the list which causes me to have to scroll way back down to where I left off. UPDATE: Still having the same issue. It's my only issue. It's still a great app.
Performance improvements + a Yum tip: Spring clean your spices! Ground spices get stale quickly, so give them a whiff. If they don't smell like anything, they won't taste like anything in your cooking.
