The broadband speed test for mobile networks allows you to prove that your mobile internet connection is operating below its rated speed. This is done by comparing the actual measured speed with the estimated maximum speed agreed upon in your contract with your provider.
The app is provided by zafaco GmbH on behalf of the Federal Network Agency.
The following steps will guide you to obtain the measurement report to prove that your connection is operating below its rated speed:
1. Start a measurement campaign
Enter your tariff details and start a measurement campaign. A campaign comprises a maximum of 30 measurements, which must be carried out over a maximum of five days.
2. Conduct measurements
Now perform the individual measurements. The app will guide you through the process.
3. Retrieve the measurement report
After completing a measurement campaign, a signed PDF measurement report will be generated as proof of your connection's operating below its rated speed.
4. Contact your provider
With the measurement report, you can contact your provider directly.
