Protocols.io enables discovery & sharing of science protocol knowledge with ease. When doing an experiment, it is also a guide that keeps track of where you are in the protocol, shows you what is next and alerts you when it is time to move to the next step. Run and record your private protocols or any of the common public methods on protocols.io.

Problems showing non-commercial protocols Hi! Since the website does not work with my Firefox in Win10 I wanted to check on the protocols I uploaded in my cellphone. When I try to open those, the app collapses. But if I open one from companies like staining proceedures there is no problem at all. Any idea what is happening? I have a Samsung Note 4. Thanks.

App is decent but it's also kinda annoying to use. For example, if a protocol has sub steps (step 1 has 1.1, 1.2 etc) on the browser website shows these but they are not shown in the app. Also, if there are tables associated with a step, they are not shown while running through the experiment. These are huge fall backs that make the app almost unusable

App keeps crashing on pixel xl whenever I try to open a protocol

I really liked the idea but bugs make it not useful I really like the idea and layout of the program. I think there is great promise. Unfortunately, there appears to be an issue with synchronization between mobile devices and computer access. This makes it very difficult to implement in real practice. Protocols I started on the phone stay on the phone. When I use a computer, it shows no steps completed, as if I have two different accounts. The app itself will frequently close unexpectedly making it unreliable for routine use.

Table support added with latest update but a few bugs with regards to table size. Timers are working! Very good support from the developers (they contacted me directly and have implemented the changes that I suggested) . Great App and great team!

Million thanks Harold for your detailed feedback here and on protocols.io. We are actively improving the app and it should be quite stable in a matter of weeks, with these issues resolved.
