Ratings and reviews

The new "connect" feature is great and well worth the subscription price. It's a little quirky on my THD-75. When using Bluetooth, you have to set the radio to vfo B, select a repeater, then go to vfo A. The app will tune vfo A correctly, but only when vfo B is selected. Not a huge deal as it's only one button press on the radio.

Pro: The app work great with the Ft-857 and GPS of the smartphone & tablet, placing the closest repeater at the top of the list. Cons: The app does not give you the option to scan the local repeaters. This feature would be good for when HAMs are on long distance drives. This app gets 5 starts, and hopefully the option for a scan would be available for a soon to be released version.

BlueCAT not working with Repeaterbook app. When I press on most repeaters in the app, it goes to a more detailed view of that repeater. On a few of the repeaters, after I press on it, it does not go to the more detailed view of that repeater. Only on those few repeaters, does it switch the transceiver to that repeater. Tried it on two different phones. Same problem when using either of the two phones.
