A binaural beat is an auditory illusion perceived when two different pure-tone sine waves, both with frequencies lower than 1500 Hz, with less than a 40 Hz difference between them, are presented to a listener dichotically (one through each ear). For example, if a 530 Hz pure tone is presented to a subject's right ear, while a 520 Hz pure tone is presented to the subject's left ear, the listener will perceive the auditory illusion of a third tone, in addition to the two pure-tones presented to each ear. The third sound is called a binaural beat, and in this example would have a perceived pitch correlating to a frequency of 10 Hz, that being the difference between the 530 Hz and 520 Hz pure tones presented to each ear.

Best sleep music app I've ever used! The best collection of binaural beats ambient sleep music. This app will help people with insomnia.. the 1st track is very hypnotic and you'll fall asleep fast. My complaint is there's sometimes some glitches like when you open the app again for the 2nd and 3rd time, it keeps defaulting to the last song you played the first time you opened the app.. a minor bug. Would be great if you had music controls on the lockscreen widget like a music player too. A+ app.

This has some nice sounds, but also has 3 big, goofy, show-stopping problems: • When you start it, it shows an (unrelated) full-screen ad with a glaring white background—it's like shining a flashlight in your face. • Some of the sound-page backgrounds are way too bright, too. (Trying to sleep here, remember?) • Unless you pay, there's no timer. That's right—you must actually pay to STOP using it! (How can it possibly be used for sleep?) What a waste of time… What were they thinking? 🤷‍♂️

This is so relaxing and I could not ask for more, it has so many sounds to choose from!! The 1st time I tried it I fell alsleep in less than 5 minutes! This app really helps when you are going through a rough time and you cant sleep! I definitly recomend it! Please! If you are looking for a sleep meditation app that you need, espiesly if it is hard for you to sleep I definitily recomend this app!! Since I tried this I play it every night before I go to sleep and it always works!😴😴👍👏
