I really like the Surplife app when it works, but the problem is that it only works for a couple of days before going offline again. Every time it disconnects, it’s a long and frustrating process to get it back online. I’ve reset everything, reinstalled the app, and followed all the steps, but the same issue keeps happening. I love the idea of the app, but the constant offline problems make it almost unusable.

I bought ring tree lights last year and was happy with the app and ability to set timers, make custom scenes, etc. This year I get my lights out and redownload the app. Now it won't let me make any diy scenes and I cannot set any timers. I'm upset because the functions I enjoyed are now unavailable. I even got old instructions out to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and I'm not, the app just doesn't allow those functions anymore.

Perry Robins
The rope lights are pretty basic and work great with included remote control. The app, however, is pretty much useless. The app interface is very similar to other apps (Feit & Geeni), but is much less friendly. There isn't any way to actually customize the lights, just basically selecting from some they have provided. I deleted the app and will just use the provided remote. I definately do NOT recommend this app.
