I am only giving this app 2 stars because it says its contactless however, you have to use NFC on your cell phone and tap to connect, every single time you use it!!! And if it was just a simple tap it wouldnt be so bad, but no, you have to hold your phone over the specific spot for a few minutes before it connects and thats impossible when said spot is completely submerged under water!! It is definitely not contactless if I have to tap to connect every single time!!! Heater works good though!!!!

Heater will not connect to "contactless"NFC after spending over an hour trying to get it to connect. I had NFC switched on, and still nothing. The user interface on the app is also terrible. No clear instructions. Don't waste your money. Buy a physical temp control heater and save yourself the headache. I hear that when you lose power, it's also a pain to try and reconnect. If that's the case, no thanks.

For the contactless heaters, it almost never reads the NFC, even with it enabled. Not to mention the fact I need to pull the heater out of the water to even get it to read! Adjusting the temperature too often locks you out of your device permanently with the justification of "abnormal activity". Not to mention the fact that the heater only powers on for about 10 seconds before turning off again. Love sicce's powerheads but avoid these heaters like the plague!
