Wonderful! Works great. Very helpful. Could use a few enhancements. Biggest complaint is as mentioned by others, child can delete and reinstall an app (or some aps like Facebook delete themselves when installing update), but dinnertime doesn't automatically reinstate restrictions. Leaves big loophole.
Blocked apps Wish it would remember blocked apps as if your child uninstall then reinstalled an app it is unlocked. My simple soloution was to block Google play instead. Maybe my daughter will learn. Just like she has to learn if she foesnt ask me to alter her time before we leave a Wi-Fi area then she cant use the majority of her phone due to using all her data uninstalling and reinstalling an app I don't want her to have. It's called tough Love!
I'm 15 years old and I understand why a parent would want to use this application for a younger child, but having a parent install this on a teenagers phone it's very different. It then becomes more invasive. If your child is older than 12 they can easily figure out how to disable this application. I understand parents worry about their children the older we get but invading the little privacy we have only makes us feel like we can't and shouldn't trust you, because you don't even have trust in us. This can be a great app for kids who are not teens, but if you have a teen I don't suggest it,this is only my oppinon.
Mostly good Desperately needs an "add time" functionality to give more scheduled minutes just for that day. Often a kid is stuck shopping or at a siblings event, and the only way to bump up the allotted tine is to change the whole schedule and hope you remember to change it back later
Perfect for Parents, Hated by Kids! 😂 UPDATE: After requesting the developer add a feature to permit parents to amend restrictions locally on the kids device, this has now been included. Makes the app perfect for my needs. This app is so flexible and does exactly what I want it to do. I only need it for two devices, but still bought the family pack to support the developer. Please note, many bad reviews left here are by the kids who are being restricted by this very effective app! 😉
I have the ZeroPC Dinner Time Plus 3.0.2 (Paid) version and it worked absolutely great until I linked my daughter's new tablet to it. She has been on her tablet pretty much all day and it does not show an accurate time in the history or report functions. Does anyone know if I uninstall it from my daughter's tablet and reinstall/re-link her's w/ mine...will it work right? I would give this 5 stars and would have with her old tablet.
