About this app

ZHEGE is a Chinese-Russian dictionary and translator for those learning Chinese, preparing for the HSK, or wanting to quickly understand Chinese characters, words, and phrases.

Look up Chinese words, characters, pinyin, and Russian translations—and when you need more, translate entire phrases using voice, a photo, or directly in conversation with your interlocutor.

The word card shows the key points at a glance: spelling, pinyin with tones, audio, translation, examples, and HSK level.

ZHEGE is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners: for studying, reading, reviewing words, and working with any Chinese text.

Text translation and analysis
• Chinese-Russian and Russian-Chinese translation (direction is determined automatically);
• Chinese text analysis: analysis by words and characters with translation and pinyin.

Voice and photo
• Voice input: Speak a word or phrase—the app will recognize it and find a translation;
• Voice translation: dictate a message and instantly receive a ready-made translation to copy and send (with the option to correct the text and retranslate);
• Photo translation: Take a photo of a sign, menu, or document—ZHEGE will recognize the Chinese text in the photo and translate it;
• Translation directly on the image: the translation is superimposed on the photo, and tapping on a phrase opens its analysis in the dictionary.

Live communication
• Real-time conversation translation: take turns speaking—the app translates your lines and helps you communicate with a native speaker.
