The best Hebrew Nikud keyboard on the Android Market place The letters are clear and easy to find; the keyboard font style makes it easy to distinguish between letters; the size of the letters on the keyboard are large enough to see... the size is even adjustable. A simple long press provides letters with the Nikud inside. Long pressing the "vav" will provide either the "shureq," "holem male," or the "vav with its own holem;" long pressing the "shin" will give you a wide options of "shin," and "sin" with and without the dagesh inside; long pressing the vowels for our numbers 1-9 and 0, plus a range of other vowels and symbols; long pressing the "period" gives a large variety of symbols (&%+"@:;/()#, '). These symbols plus many more are accessed by pushing the "?123" button. There is an additional button to assess a whole range of symbols i am not familiar with.... pronunciation marks? My Wishlist? 1. Separate keys for the "shin" and the "sin." (The "sin" is usually in the row above and located just above the "shin." Since "shin" is a frequently used letter, having separate keys would facilitate easier and smoother typing, without having to stop and long press, then slide to the correct key, having to make sure you didn't stop over the wrong letter. 2. An English keyboard that could easily alternate between the Hebrew Nikud keyboard, using the globe key, like it does with the Yiddish keyboard. 3. Having a visible key for the dagesh... to help the learning process, to have the capability to physically add the "dagesh" while i am learning new words, and grammatical processes.
Best Hebrew keyboard to date, but... I am very happy with this keyboard with one small exception. In order to access the quote and double quote characters, I have to shift to numeric mode. It would be very useful if I could access these by long pressing the ה and ב keys. I would also like to have more fonts. I even wouldn't mind having to pay if need be to have additional high quality Hebrew fonts.
No way to adjust font size???? Love the app but if it's fixed font only I'll be very disappointed. Managed to find everything else I looked for.
