About this game

Welcome to the 20th Anniversary Edition of Bridge as we continue to bring you the best in classic board, card and puzzle games. Enjoy.

With 3 modes of play, practically unlimited deals and the ability to search for hands this Bridge card game is sure to teach, challenge and entertain you for hours.

Alternatively, why not play in some Bridge tournaments or create your own Bridge club and play online against your family, friends and invited club members.

Bridge supports the following 3 modes of play:

In Rubber Bridge a rubber is played as the best of three games. A game is won by the first partnership to score 100 or more points in successful contracts.

In Chicago Bridge, also known as Four-Hand Bridge, you play exactly four hands of Bridge. The winner is the partnership that scores the most points. Whilst played offline with a computer partner against the computer, if you share the 'tournament number' with a friend they can play the same hands on their device.

In Tournament Bridge you play at your own pace against players from around the world in duplicate style Bridge tournaments. Each player in a tournament plays the same hands with the winner scoring the most points. Alternatively you can easily create your own online Bridge club, invite your family, friends or even some enemies then play in duplicate style Bridge tournaments against your own select set of players.

What is Bridge?
Bridge is a trick taking card game played by four players who form two partnerships. Players within a partnership face each other across a table. Traditionally, the players are referred to by the points of the compass - North, East, South and West. The two partnerships are North/South and East/West.

Designed for both beginners and more advanced players you can choose how you prefer to play. There are plenty of features if you are trying to learn Bridge including auto play and hints. Meanwhile the more advanced players can use the bid analysis or replay hand features to explore different lines of card play.

DEVELOPED BY BRIDGE PLAYERS
The team behind Bridge have been producing Bridge games for over 40 years. One of our first products was Bridge Challenger released in the early 80s!

Do we get every bid correct or play every hand perfectly? absolutely not!. Often there is no one single correct answer making Bridge the game we love. Meanwhile we continue to develop and improve the game.

COMMENTS + SUGGESTIONS.
Please feel free to contact us via our support email if you have comments and suggestions. Please include any Deal Id if you are commenting on specific deals as that is the only way we can reasonably play the hand in question here.

Worst bidding system. There is not enough space to show the bad bids. Even I deselected all conventions, still uses some instead of using the Natural system as it should without conventions. And one more thing, score seems to be one step behind! As soon as I finish a hand, I can't see the correct score, it is shown the one after the previous hand. If a hand play can be changed, so the score can be recalculated, so this is not an excuse. Maybe in a future version! It is true, the bidding system is not your fault, this is how the systems work. But you should add an option for Natural, no conventions at all. Same, maybe in a future version! And one more thing, very important: the adds are so stupid! Some are taking vary long, no option to exit (some Candy Crush for example). But all are repeating a lot. If I don't like/want something the 2nd-4th time I see (assuming that first time I didn't pay attention to it), why do you think I will like it the tenth or hundredth time? I understand they are needed in the free version (why pay if the other things are not OK?), but at least to be different! Thank you, maybe you can consider what I said!

Thanks for the updated feedback. We have almost no control over which ads are displayed - Google provide most of the ads + decide if they should be repeated or not. You can always choose to remove all the ads via the single modest In App Purchase if thats your preference.

Love his game, especially the review feature. The play algorithm is not the best because I sometimes do better than the computer would have done. Would like to see displayed cards partly overlapping so that they look more like the cards in your hand when playing the old fashioned way. Also, this would prevent long suits in the E and W hands running over two lines. Excellent dealing algorithm which seems to produce lots of interesting hands. Well done.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, I have forwarded to relevant people here. Games such as Bridge have an element of luck e.g. with card distribution so its always going to be possible for one player to do better than another regardless of their relative playing strengths.

When I first got this I thought it was excellent. Then, after quite awhile, it crashed returning to when you first use it losing all score data. Then it crashed again. So I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. In 14 hands I had 12 hands with less than 4pts and two of those 0 pts. The two hands over 4pts I had 20pts and my partner 0 pts. Utterly ridiculous. What's happened? It was a really good app. Also E and W are over calling, usually 4 or 5 of a suit whilst holding 6pts or less.

Can you give us any idea where the app might have crashed/ during any specific action?. Google/Android crash logs suggest crashes are extremely rare. With 2billion+ hands there are always going to be times when you get runs of low / high points. Use the 'Select hand' option to choose hands meeting points critera or jump to different DealId.

What's new

Welcome to the 20th Anniversary Edition of Bridge. This update contains a significant number of minor changes to a wide range of bidding and card play situations - producing a stronger and more competitive Bridge card game.

A number of bug fixes, e.g. part scores we not always taken into consideration in all bidding scenarios.

Enjoy!
