The app itself works fine. The web version, linked from within the app, to control the schedule and system settings, is horrible and if you are editing the schedule, and lose internet or get a phone call or something that causes you to exit the app, it causes an air and requires you to basically force restart the device. Lately, I think it's been losing Wi-Fi connection or something, and not turning the pool pump on in the morning. 🙄

Thanks, Bryan! You're correct that you need to save changes before exiting the schedule screen. Should you be interrupted, resetting the equipment is the trick. You can also log into to edit changes in any browser at www.iaqualink.com. Ensure that the wifi signal outside by your pool equipment is consistently at least 10 Mbps. - iAquaLink Support

i increased the review from a 1 star....I have fought with this app for YEARS. I am never able to do anything with our waterfall, light, or filters. we are having a freeze tonight, so I needed to get in and adjust the filter speed. I did a lot more research and figured out that if my phone is on the 2.4 wifi router, I can actually get into the app. no one has ever told me that would help (or it was required), so fingers crossed, this will keep working.

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback! Yes, using the 2.4 GHz wifi channel, as well as ensuring the wifi signal strength outside by your pool is at least 10 Mbps, should do the trick. I usually have to clear cache and data on the app for it to work. plus the controller unit outside is not stable either. I have to try multiple times to stop the pump before it works. It's not a Wi-Fi issue - the router is literally on the other side of the wall where the controller is mounted. I don't have any issues with anything sitting much farther away - like cameras. When it does work it's a nice feature to have. Update 2/7/2026: Closing the app after each use helps.
