About this game

The classic card game Cassino also known as Casino.

The rules are simple, but the game is anything but simple. This is a great card game for both children and adults. Try the Daily-5 where you compete daily against all players where they are all dealt the exact same cards.

Each player starts the game with four cards and four on the table. Players may capture one or more matching cards or combinations of cards that add up to the same rank. You can build on to combinations on the table making one or more groups that match a card in your hand.

Cards are dealt four at a time until their are no more in the deck. The last player to capture a card takes the remaining cards on the table.

Scoring:
2 - Big Cassino (10-diamonds)
1 - Little Cassino (2-spades)
1 - Each Ace
3 - Most cards captured
1 - Most spades captured
1 - For each Sweep (when a capture takes all of the cards on the board)

Play single games or play a multiple-game match where the first player to score 21 points wins.

I don't see the point of playing online (I don't want to), so my stats are apparently skewed to the game's native AI (human loses most of the time). I've gotten to where I don't play any longer as I'm almost sure to lose. The Avg Stats show a slim winning margin, but I have to assume that's only humans playing humans, although the win margin is pretty low. Fix the AI so it's more balanced, and allow offline play.

Finally, a version that gets it right! The scoring is the same as the way my grandfather taught me to play and the play works perfectly, building, adding to a build, being able to take something off the table before being forced to take your build....all the things that are enraging in other app versions of this game. And idk what the other reviewers are talking about, I've beat the computer plenty of times and it never feels like the AI has an unfair advantage. Love it!!

I agree with another reviewer, the computer always gets the last face card no matter what. Unless you can build something, you can't get the last pick up when you are dealing. The computer ALWAYS gets last pick up when dealing because it ALWAYS has a face card on last hand. Very frustrating! Otherwise, it's a good game as far as graphics, etc

The programmed strategy always saves a face card (if it has one) to play last on the last deal, taking any left over cards. So it makes sense you're always seeing that. The odds of any 4 cards containing a face card is about 67%. There's no manipulation of the deck, and none required. Hope this helps explain what you're seeing. Enjoy the game. -Zol
