Great game, very unique concept. Auto battle makes it seem like a bad idle game but it actually puts the focus on deck building. Very complex with like 20 class heroes with different abilities. Might seem Grindy at start, but the trick is to play colosseum asap and buy the different diamond packs which guarantee epics for the 1st packs. Nice community, not only guilds but even global chat is full of helpful advice
I'll admit, in the beginning, I had my doubts about this game. A TCG where the battles are automated? Doesn't sound like much fun. In reality, however, it really is pretty fun and entertaining. The card designs are really good looking, the battles can still be pretty nerve-racking, and it never feels like a "pay-to-win" type of game structure. If you're a fan of TCGs, I would definitely recommend it.
I remember playing Warstorm back in the day, and this game really brings back a lot of the same feelings I had for it. Probably the greatest CCG I ever played. However, this game isn't exactly Warstorm. There seem to be more generic cards for each race, you can mix races when deckbuilding, and heroes are no longer cards in your deck. I feel that the EXP system for heroes now unbalances the game in a way that Warstorm never had a problem with, but I think it makes sense in the context of an app. As it's no longer a Facebook game, it takes a more standard approach to keeping players coming back and rewarding those who play the most. What especially stands out to me as a problem is that higher level heroes have more cards in they're deck, which not only gives them an advantage, but also takes away from the deckbuilding of classic Warstorm.
There is no gameplay, every match might as well be a cutscene, that's not how a game works
This is pretty straight forward. Although, I think Warstorm was more balanced and strategic.
I think its pretty cool, but it needs more levels, cards, & competitions...
Two new heroes added! Additional bug fixes and balance changes - see in-game patch notes for details.
Lead heroes of the storm to feel warlord clash with army, castle, and kingdom.
