Doesn't work as advertised. The app provides a series of links to download the linux img files and required terminal/vnc apps. You even have to extract the downloaded zip file yourself. After this process the app should launch linux however this doesn't work due to permission errors. The helpful instructions provided by the developer are simply to reinstall the app. This doesn't resolve the problem.

I confirm, after downloading and unpacking large 3.7Gb img file of Linux Debian 8, I get permission error. You do not deserve to be named developper, merely a newbie. I hope I will find another way of using the file so to start linux.

none of the files work I spent all day trying to get one of these files to work. I either get to the last part and the launcher won't work and ask me to reinstall app or the files won't extract. might have worked once but not today.
The app is broken and/or hasn't received updates for a long time. Install scripts won't download, basically the installation and launch of Linux distro is impossible with this app at this moment.

Change the app name to Linux download link app, it does nothing else. FAQ section is a dead end, forum links is nothing but bots, at least I found a kali .img to work with.

Not working I downloaded kali linux img file it its not extracting. I used many extracting apps and also tried with pc. It shows that the file is corrupted. Downloaded twice but the same problem occurs again and again. Please give me a solution.

Great Little App! This project is gr8, works like charm. And to all those complaing about terminal permission error, just remove and reinstall complete linux installer
Best app! I tried Linux deploy and ended up a lot of errors and vnc doesn't connect but this app is awesome , I tried Ubuntu 13.04 but doesn't work and ubuntu 13.10 works great.Check the 13.04img.
Great update! It works on Android Nougat! Nice, I can confirm this works on my device! The only problem is the images are too old and Everytime I try to stop the process by exiting out, it throws me an error stating that I'll have to kill it manually, other than that great job on getting this app back up and running
I Downloaded Ubuntu Large IMG. When i launching it.... Then no commands running in terminal. & i don't know what command should i put to run linux & start vnc server. It should be automatically entered the command by app but its not running commands.. I give All permissions to the app including shell access permission.. Help me..
When I click Start Linux it says no app can perform this action. Sad. i am running OnePlus 5
it doesn't change the screen resolution to full hd as I wanted nor it removed ads after having purchased it,therefore I want a refund. I tried with ubuntu 13.10 with the small ubuntu image on M.O.J.O. by MadCatz and the screen was downscaled to HD resolution no matter what I tried.

Not the easiest way linux deploy is killing you boys wake up and start running before th e tortoise wins.
Didn't work as usual, was bad before still is, and scripts update doesn't even connect. Go through the tedious manual process to get a useless error about permissions from terminal and told to reinstall - I think uninstall is the right choice!
I am sure I am not the only one who wants to punch the developer I can not begin to tell you the many reasons to not even try this. I have tried 10 times for each flavor of linux to make this work on two different devices. Wasting 4 days going back and trying a new thing to get it to work. This guy has wasted so much of my time and I am sure many others. There is zero online help. All you are going to find is a bunch of people with weird fixes ie permission changes, or formatting card to ext2 blah blah blah that do not work on most devices. I just got 3rd Android and decided I would try it one more time. I got that stupid terminal error and reinstalled. It then got me to the terminal and one of the three errors came up again and again. A loop problem, ARM problem, or the classic invalad argument. What a joke. Take the app down if you are not going to update or listen or give any help or advice to anyone that has delt with your unstable garbage, or at least say it may not work on most devices. I have tested on 3 Samsung tablets and 2 Samsung phones. Absolutely failed I wish I could get my time back you the developer have taken from me. For you to describe such an easy installation in the description is rediculous.
Unable to get permissions from terminal app, please reinstall. This app never worked for me. Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505. If you need logcat, respond, I don't mind, JUST FIX IT ALREADY

I keep getting the message "Unable to get permission from terminal app, please reinstall Complete Linux Installer". The second most useless error message I've ever seen.
Why is there no new distros on this app no ubuntu 16.10 no mint no xubuntu etc pretty useless then if you're going to do it do it right or not at all
Tell me.. After download image and before lounch ubuntu can i configure files with linux deploy? Please tell me i am done all but not succes..
DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP. You will get some type of permission error and they will ask you to reinstall the app and when you do that it will never work.
Doesn't work and app is incomplete, also out of date. Should be called Complete Waste of Time if you want Linux.

Somewhat worked, needs permissions fixed had to edit them manually. Also had qbus error

Update is not working when try to sudo apt-get update unable to connect...I have to use another app like linux deploy it works..please assist me ... y every time it gets stuck at could not resolve host error

It told to reinstall cause of terminal permission, I did, still same error. Not working.
I can get the Debian variant to install and run..but not Kali..it appears that support for this app is non existent..would be a great app if support were provided and the app updated !
I can't extract it It always says "your file is not pasted" or "bad file" if im using es explorer.Plz fix i download the kali linux img file like 3 times and i cant extract it
