Absolutely awesome It's actually more of a pay to progress. The lives are set up where you have to beat levels to each checkpoint on the first try, otherwise you start over from your last checkpoint until you can get them all right. The pay part is for if you don't have the patience to do that. Freakin' awesome game. :)) Update: if you start having system issues, power off your phone. I just let mine power off for a bit and I'm good to go. You learn something new everyday. :) Update #2: It's many months later and I still love this game. :))

Mushroom wars forever and always I love playing MW, I started out playing on ps3 and found the first MW app a while back. finally got a phone that can handle this one. I love all the new features you've put into this. It's great to finally see some new maps. I like the freezing of the troops, it changes the dynamic of play in such a great way! I really wish you guys would incorporate some of this in a dlc pack for the PlayStation market!!! Keep up the great work!! I'd love to work with for you in the future I know AR/VR development ;)
Amazing...... but good So.... i straight away got hooked on number 1 but when i saw this, i freaked out. New favourite game and way better than the first. Love the addition of boosters and the campaign is much better. I like the different leagues and the chests because in number 1 you had to get a key. Things i liked in 1 were: The "revenge" system and nemesis of the day. I also liked war spirit belovance for 24hrs. You should add that add well. Thats alllll. Love the game too much!!

Good to play once a day. But I HATE you're maps with 2 stars and 4 players, if you delay, .5 of a second or upgrade or do anything other than INSTANTLY throw your whole army at a star, you lose. And have to wait an hour to play 1 more match lol. Besides this, they arent to bad with money grabbing, totally optional. ☺

Good concept, bad execution. I love the concept of the game. The multiplayer is fun but that's about it. The single player would be fun if you had more lives. I feel like the degree of difficulty compared to the lives you get is off. Im on the frozen world but I can't get to the first checkpoint unless I spend money. That's probably what they want.

Was excited for a moment... Was waiting for another mushroom wars... one of my fav ps3 games ever made! Too bad you ruined it with energy, and the need to pay if you lose a few times. Why not give us the option to just buy the game like in PS3 without all the energy BS? Show your fans some respect at least.

It keeps bringing me back to the begging On the ice world, anywhere past the check point if i already reached the 4th checkpoint and run out of troops, i go to the 4th checkpoint and retrieve my troops but it keeps bringing me back to the second checkpoint, probably your coding is wrong because it keeps happening all over again. When you fix that I'll give you 5 stars back. From a galaxy s6.
Great Multiplayer Strategy Game! Just One Glitch This is a MUST HAVE for ANYBODY, People who complain about the 6 troop time... IT JUST ONE HOUR YOU RETARD. Awesome multiplayer and my favorite 4 PLAYER MAPS! But, Can you fix the glitch where I can't make a 30 troop WindMill but instead it upgraded my building.
So many issues Good game but..... So many issues with connectivity, when you are playing multiplayer you get robbed of your points/energy for no reason. Multiplayer games have so called goals that are rarely achieved during play by players and yet the game will call a player as winner regardless of progress/game play. Many other issues.
Absolute garbage. Good game on the playstation network, but absolutely ruined here by an idiotic checkpoint lives system that forces you to replay levels, or pay repeatedly to advance. Online is shoddy, and everything is pay to win / cheat. Greedy, idiotic developers have ruined this great game. Way better on PS3.
Fun Game - Terrible Policies! Please do not give any money to these developers. they do microtransactions. Sometimes those are fine. But NOT how they are done here. I can no longer play campaign b/c I only have one token. Takes 2 to play. If I want more I have to pay. If I have 0 it would let me restart. But I have 1. Multiplayer: Every loss u must wait an hour. Some only last 10 seconds / game counts win as loss / glitches b4 u start /lose connection / sync problems. All result in having to wait or pay ridiculous money
The bombs don't work This game was great until the level where you are surrounded and you have bombs you can use for the first time. The bombs wouldn't work. You can't beat the level without the bombs. I tried pressing the bomb button. I tried dragging the bomb over my tower or the enemy. How do the bombs work? Do they work? Aaarrgh!
Worst game ever Unless you want headaches and disappointment then don't this game. The reason why I gave it 1 star is because after trying to over and over to get to the next level. Then it turn out you can even try again because you only have five tyres intel you can't even play again then not only that. The work that you put into completing the level.. Its like you never even try because you need to play the 3-4 levels that you beaten again..
Too many bugs. I've been playing this game for a long time. I really like it. Problem is I've watch multiplayer videos that actually show a button at the bottom that says cheat! Also with no boosts same level stars same number of armored yet have 30 troops beat my 50 troops. Also I have had numerous times with connectivity issue. That by itself is fine but suckish a life if it doesn't reconnect and draining my points. If it does reconnect to the game then troop % is locked. Please fix.
Rip Off What the...? I only won 3 in 20 multiplayer battles. How is that possible? I've never experienced something like this in any kind of game. You have to wait an hour to play a new one unless you pay. I'm also stuck on the frozen planet in the story mode since I only have 6 actions to reach the check point but it takes more than that. They don't even fill up at all unless you pay for it either. First it seems like a great game. It's the most player unfriendly game I've ever experienced in my whole life though.
*Beware*Shaddy. Bots play as multiplayer I'm starting to think this game is a fancy front for the mob. They use bots to play against people in multiplayer. They start you off in an easier level league and move you up the more you play. Once you get in the gold league the bots suck you dry. If you happen to gain the upper hand on one. It's programed to just stop moving it's troops and just sit there indefinitely. Worst they are programed to go after you first. They have all these "rare" cheats they can use against you but you have to buy yours!
I hate this game, it is so Frick in hard, every time I try to capture a building, the enemy send more troops to that base or take over my bases,(Frickin level 7 ) I hate it. Not only that but the graphics are stupid, I went into this game expecting mushroom people, but no, it's just stupid human people living in dumb mushroom houses.worst game on the appstore, do not buy
Wtf I was playing it I got to the 2 Checkpoint then I was stuck so I used the last 3 and it started me back to the 1st 1. 1 star and I almost cried cause it took me 2 days just to get to the 2nd one and in multiplayer I won't let me use my things on the bottom right so I would not recommend this to anyone who does not likes to go through games like that 1 star horrible game
Fun, yet buggy strategy game First off, I did enjoy this game as it is fun and addicting as you get the hang of it. However, as some reviews mentioned, it's difficult to progress given the way that lives are doled out. In particular, the PvP element in which you can only lose 3 games before waiting an hour for life to replenish is frustrating and prohibitive to getting better. Furthermore, even after the update, the game can be buggy, and the menu UIs can be unintuitive (try making and challenging a friend, for example).
Off balance and not enjoyable I feel the game is too one sided. You know if you're going to win or lose from the start of the battle. I've played over 30 online games and have noticed from both perspectives. The campaign is also not enjoyable if you have to pay to keep playing a game that is downloaded for free. Im tired of resetting back to the previous checkpoint and playing the same levels if I can't make it to the next checkpoint.
They try to charge you for EVERYTHING Had the game for less than 24 hoursand its asking me to pay them cause i either ran out of time to beat the level or lives to plag the level over.i hate these kind of games that want you to pay for EVERYTHING. Oh and if you run out of lives you dont get any back unless you buy them or get them from friends. I played the night before and when i went to play the next day i still only had one life. This game isnt worth the long download time at all.
Despicable After you progress so far the game requires you to invest money. Not a one off payment but a charge every time you want to refill your energy. No recharge over time just once it's spent you have to pay another 72p to play with full energy again. Your max energy is 6... 9 if you sign in with Facebook. Complete waste of time and a complete waste space on the store.
