ASI294 on a OnePlus 8. Once recording is started, it will not stop unless I force close the app. This also results in 0byte files making the video function useless. As the app lacks an intervalometer function, a working video function is essential to taking more than one image in a row. Considering Android is *nix based, much of the imaging functions on the ASIAir Pro could be ported, and work on higher end phones. Especially considering higher end phones are far more powerful than what's in the Pro. As the app doesn't work, not been updated in some time, and was the only reason I purchased a ZWO camera, I can only give it 1 star.

image breaks down during preview and recording, and rec time is limited to 15 seconds. anything longer and the app will lose it, the video will not be recognized by any player, not even on pc (says video is corrupt). pretty unstable and unreliable. is there anything i am missing? using it on an S6 edge+, with OTG cable. asi462 is the camera model. any feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks

I have an aging Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and a USB 2 OTG and this app works very well. I couldn't get it to work with my S8 phone even with a USB 2 to USB 3 adaptor so I doubt it is a ZWO problem. I don't think I will have much use for this app other than showing the grandkids so hopefully, they will become interested in the stars as well.
