The Official BlackVue Dash Cameras app.

Taking advantage of a mobile or car-embedded Internet connection and a BlackVue dashcam, BlackVue Cloud connects you to your car through the Cloud. Using the BlackVue App on your smartphone or tablet, you see in real time where your car is located and what is happening around it.

You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).

BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

Like the camera, hate the obtrusive and overly complicated app, will never buy Blackvue again. I just need a camera and simple software for connection, not cloud services, adds, and software that seems to have a mind of its own, never functioning quite right. Never been more frustrated with a dashcam as I am with this one, not everyone needs all the bells and whistles. With software use the KISS method, your customers will thank you for it.

What a terrible app. Tried to connect, and then had to update app. Why does app need my location? Now have to create an account so BlackVue can know what I had for breakfast and my bathroom patterns! Then I try to connect via wifi, tried 3 times and then switched to Bluetooth. Bluetooth finds camera but can't verify it even with me touching the left side as instructed. I give up. Looks like the only way to get my videos is to take the card out. Previous app worked fine, without all the spyware.

A spectacularly clunky app that requires more and more personal information that they can then sell. Instead of letting you connect to a camera you are right next to. Checking footage pretty much requires removing the camera sd card and take it to my computer. This is completely useless roadside, so time for a different dashcam I suppose.
