I booked a cab 30 minutes in advance for a 20:30 pickup, only to stand in the cold and receive a notification at 20:32 that my order was canceled because no drivers accepted my ride. What’s the point of this service if it’s so unreliable? In the end, I just called a traditional taxi company, and they arrived within 10 minutes. Very disappointing experience!

So you place an order, the guy shows up with 2 other cabs, one of them pull out his phone, and the order somehow gets canceled at the exact same moment. The price with the app was estimated 5 EUR. Now one of them say: the only option left in front of you is 10 EUR fixed price, without meter. Genius. It's a scam. Post developer response edit: you clearly did not read my review. I never mentioned an app thing. The misuse by the cab is the issue here.

I think we can't really rely on Cabcy. Not yet. Availability of drivers is not spectacular so you can't really rely on them if you have a meeting and have time contraints. The driver can cancel at the last second. Or they can refuse the trips that are close-by because they do not make a lot out of it. I made an order this morning and the driver showed up one hour before so I had to cancel. Moreover the taxi I took refused the payment by card as I had chosen on the application. Still chaos.

What’s new

In this release, we’ve improved the Saved places feature. Users will now be prompted to add their home, work, or any other frequently used address directly from the main screen. We’ve also updated the colours for the Dark mode. Now, in the dark, the interface will look softer.
