Gisella is a mobile GIS application that allows you to create, edit, import, and export geographic data directly in the field. Examples, instructions, and support are available at support.gisella.app.
This Geographic Information System offers everything from map object management and layers to complete map projects.
Gisella supports common GIS data formats such as KML, GeoJSON, and ESRI Shapefile. It works well with desktop GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS, as well as web systems such as WEGAS, Google My Maps, and many others. Data can be imported and exported directly on your device or via Google Drive.
Main GIS Features:
▪ Point, line, and polygon geometry (up to 50 elements per layer in the Free version)
▪ Attributes of string, number, or enumerated data type
▪ Layer styles – color, point icon, line width, polygon transparency, and more
▪ Creation of map projects from layers (one layer can be part of multiple projects)
▪ Creation of new map layers and editing of existing layers, including imported ones
▪ Creation and editing of vertices using GPS or manually over the map background
▪ Field data collection with the option to attach photos and other multimedia records to individual geometries
▪ Worldwide mapping via Google API – topographic and hybrid maps, with the option to work offline after loading background maps
▪ Import and export of layers in KML, GeoJSON, and ESRI Shapefile formats, with or without multimedia, to your device or Google Drive
▪ Export and import of the entire database for backup or sharing among users (available only in the Pro version)
Gisella is one of the few GIS applications that allows you to create and manage GIS objects directly on your mobile device. You can create and edit map objects, layers, and entire map projects without needing a desktop computer in the field.

Your collected GIS data remain under your control — stored on your device or in your selected cloud account. We do not use your collected geographic data for our own analysis.
