This is the official Android app for site www.dvbtmap.eu.
Shows transmitters by your GPS or searched position. You can use GPS, WiFi or search by geocoder. Tap on the transmitter to get its name and position. To show full transmitter detail tap on call-out window. This window shows: name, GPS position, altitude, tower height, distance to your position and bearing. If defined the list of channels are displayed and contains: channel number, frequency in MHz, polarization, ERP and stations with logos (if defined). Channel with covagege map has small map icon on the right side. To show the map tap on channel in the list.
Do you want to see terrain profile? Just turn your device to landscape mode. If you want to store transmitter to favorite list tap on grey star. To navigate to the transmitter tap on blue arrow to invoke internal navigation app(s).
Do you need to set up your antenna? It's easy with this app, just hit the compass button. You need GPS position to use this function. To help you the aerial satellite image is rotationg bellow compass arrow.
Search dialog accepts city name, street, street number. E.g. "Brno", "Vyškov, Puškinova".
There is also filter dialog for set limitations for transmitters on the map. You can define max distance up to 100km, ERP up to 50kW and channel from 21 to 69.
You can use this app as antenna aligner. This is ideal for caravaners or truck drivers.
Be aware to run this app on unlicenced devices without Google Maps! These deviecs has a problem to show map correctly.
