Switchio.mobilePOS is a unique payment terminal for contactless acceptance of electronic cards.
It is designed for merchants whose customers wish to pay using any of our partner’s credit cards. The list of our partners is available on switchio.com/mobilepos.

The Switchio.mobilePOS mobile app is FREE OF CHARGE.


This mobile app is designed for all mobile phones and tablets with the Android operating system (version 5 or more recent) and with NFC support.

HOW TO USE the Switchio.mobilePOS APP

After a simple registration process, you can simply enter your login data selected for the registration and you remain logged in. The app shall remain ready to be used quickly.


The payment is contactless, and with Switchio.mobilePOS it's fast and easy.
When paying with any of our partners' electronic cards – the list is available on www.switchio.com/mobilepos – you open Switchio.mobilePOS and, in the case of a new login, please login to your account.
If you are already logged in, the app shall immediately offer you the payment page.
There you shall enter the sum, and/or variable symbol and note designated for your internal requirements, and confirm the data. A page, inviting you to apply the electronic payment card, shall appear. The customer touches the card to the bottom of the phone, and the sum is immediately deducted. The app shall inform you whether the PAYMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL.
You can then enter the customer’s email address to which the payment receipt shall be sent. It is the same receipt as the one printed out from the standard payment terminal.
By doing so, the payment process is completed.

If there is not enough cash on the card or the card is damaged, the payment shall be refused by the app. The message REFUSED shall appear on the display. You can try to repeat the entire process. In the event of repeated refusal, we recommend you contact your electronic card issuer.


You only need to install one app in your device; however, you can have several registered terminals according to your requirements. Just like regular payment terminals.
After entering access data, every device you registered shall be loaded. Then you can choose which device you wish to Select/Replace. The original device shall then no longer accept payments. Thus, two devices (mobile phone, tablet) cannot operate under one terminal name.


The Switchio.mobilePOS solution also includes the web portal (www.switchio.com/mobilepos) through which the merchant can access their account.
Each user has their own unique access, automatically acquired by registering in the Switchio.mobilePOS mobile app, and can only see their own account. All statements and payments made via the Switchio.mobilePOS app, as well as other data, are clearly listed there. The account also enables the export of the data to .pdf, based on the settings.
Orientation within this administrative environment is very simple and intuitive.
