Sometimes fails with "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." On both contact and calendar sync. This problem is caused by empty objects in Outlook (I think it may be an Outlook problem). This issue could do with more diagnostic information in the log to identify the corrupt records. The problem can be fixed by deleting all contancts and calendar information form the phne. Then using a tool like Go contact Sync Mod to sync Outlook with Google. This will show up the corrupt records. When you can successfuly syn between Google and Outlook you can then switch back to Local Sync with no problems. Still the best Outlook - Android sync out there.
I love LocalSync! This is/was the best way to sync with my PC and Outlook over USB. LocalSync 188.8.131.52 has been happily and successfully transfering data from Android 6 Marshmallow on a Moto Z Droid Force synching with version 184.108.40.206 on my PC until yesterday when there was an OTA update to Android 7 Nougat. Now I receive the message "LocalSync does not support this version of Android" when I try to open the android app. Maybe the developer of this wonderful app just needs to enable or approve use of LocalSync with Android 7 and/or our devices in the app store to work?
Easy to use, and straight to the point If you can't / don't want to sync through an online system, there's not much other choices.
I was attracted by the high ratings but the PC client was detected as possessing a Trojan by Windows Defender.
Really missed this great app before it became compatible with newer Android version!!¡
Good and free
