Best sudoku I love that you can choose your favorite way of entering digits and hints ( I use Num Pad), clear, simple intetface, no ads, loads of puzzles available. Wish list: save save points when I leave and come back, multiple save points, color cells marked with requested combinations of numbers. To those who can't find controls on newer devices, you simply hold the lower-left button rather than tap it.
Great Sudoku game BUT! I've been playing this Sudoku game for a couple of years now. It deserves 5 stars BUT I just updated to Galaxy Note 4 and the controls for the game are not available. The option to use the lower left hand device button has been changed. It only displays active applications. Please come up with a work around. I definitely want to keep playing this version. Best of all the others.
Great for putting in newspaper sudokus! I was looking for an app where you can input sudokus from a newspaper. This is perfect and a small app, it uses hardly any memory space! To add a sudoku yourself its pretty self explanatory but for those who maybe can't figure it out, on the bottom task bar on your device press the menu button or the three dots after you open up the game. Add Folder, I put Newspaper as this folder name. Go in that and hit the menu button again to Add Sudoku. Very cool app!
Great! Unlike most "free" apps, this one is genuinely free, as in speech and beer, so there are no annoying ads or crippled functionality, so top marks for that. It plays very well with a clean, minimalistic interface and offers a variety of input methods, so you should find something you like. Importing new puzzles is a breeze, and you can enter your own from the local newspaper or wherever, so you have literally limitless possibilities. 5-stars easy.
Old but gold. Definitely the best sudoku app on the market. Simple and non off those weird colors and hint features. I wish there is a check button that tells you what number position is incorrect (which by pressing adds more time solved) but seeing as this app haven't been updated for awhile I hope someone else makes a new one :)
Good It's not busy with designs and colors, easy on the eye, and easy to use. A trick though is that it will not highlight when you've placed a number in the wrong location. For example, you can put 3 in any random box that does not interfere with another 3. Suppose that box is supposed to be a 7. It will not highlight that you misplaced the 3, even though it really is in the wrong spot. It's like if you were playing with pen and paper. You won't know you have a misplaced number until it's too late. I like that.
