About this app

VolEver is a mobile application that connects people from Ukraine with local volunteers in Czechia, Poland and Lithuania who offer practical support. The aim of the app is to help people find their way in a new country, strengthen social connections and support dignified integration through a safe and easy-to-understand digital tool.

The app was created as part of the international project Volunteers Everywhere — VolEver, which responds to the need for better coordination of volunteer support and more accessible assistance for people from Ukraine living in host countries.

Through the app, users can offer or request practical support in everyday life, such as:

- practising the local or another language,
- accompaniment to public offices, medical appointments or other institutions,
- orientation in a new city or region,
- tutoring, mentoring or leisure-time support,
- other forms of volunteer support, depending on current possibilities and needs.

VolEver places emphasis on safe connections, user verification and support provided by volunteer coordinators and intercultural workers. The app is available in Czech, Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Russian and English to make it easier to use for people from Ukraine and local volunteers. The aim is to ensure that support is clear, dignified and safe for everyone involved.

The app is intended primarily for people from Ukraine and volunteers in Czechia, Poland and Lithuania. Although it may be available for download in other countries, its current operation and support are focused on these three countries.

VolEver supports meaningful volunteering, mutual trust and the involvement of people from Ukraine in local communities.

The VolEver app was developed as part of the Volunteers Everywhere project, supported by the European Union through the ESF+ Social Innovation+ initiative.
