About this app

The most trustworthy plant identification app available. Plants are identified by an international team of highly experienced experts, rather than a computer algorithm. This app is also able to identify mosses, lichens, and fungi.

The installation includes three prepaid identification credits, each additional for ~ 1 USD / 0.7 EUR. There is no charge if we can't identify your plant. Each identification credit is valid for one year.

Our team will respond as soon as possible, but the identification usually takes minutes or hours.

App is useless. I've tried it twice since installing it and on both occasions after waiting more than 24 hours it simply came back saying "we are not able to identify your plant". At the same time the free AI based apps I've tested identified both plants.

I love this app!! There are free apps out there I've used, but they have strange gaps. FlowerChecker has real people with plant/botany experience (!), very much worth the nominal fee. It might take a day or so to get back to you, however, it's gratifying to learn the Latin name(s) along with common iterations. They get all the stars, thumbs up, and the pumpkin stickers to boot 😁😊

I've used this service a few times and was especially concerned about a beautiful succulent that was in terrible shape. Its leaves were turning black, and I couldn't get help on line. I sent 2 pictures to FlowerChecker and got a quick response that identified the problem. Great value for a modest cost. They're my go to place for help with my extensive desert property.
